About the instructor:
Carolina Soares Frankl has discovered in yoga a way to understand her soul in many aspects. She believes in the balance of the emotional and rational bodies which we can all achieve through breathing and stretching our physical bodies. Carolina believes in respect -- which can also be translated to "respect of our bodies". Limits and patience are essential until we are prepared to move forward.
In my own words...
"I have developed a yoga class that can suit every type of person-- and progressively the students or future yogis will feel their bodies being more flexible which will reflect into their minds as well. The practice of Yoga is a very important tool to become a responsible person that responds to losses and gains in the long run and grows from both"
Experience And Credentials:
Carolina's background in harmonic balance between mind, body, and soul predates her exposure to the practice of yoga. Formally trained in traditional ballet for more than ten years, she grew up with a strong sense of movement and focus on the body.
By the age of eighteen she was ready for college and a new challenge-- In Sao Paulo, Brazil Carolina was introduced to Pilates and studied under Inelia Garcia for a number of years. From Pilates, she experienced a natural and gradual transition into the world of Yoga.
Now for more than five years she has studied yoga both at home and abroad, and has been exposed to a variety of styles: Power Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Bikram Yoga, Kripalu Yoga, traditional Hatha Yoga, and her preferred style-- Iyengar Yoga
Steps to become a warrior yogi by Carolina:
- Breathing consciously at all times
- Assuming responsibilities about your own life
- Centering yourself
- Discipline
- Being in power of your own actions and reactions
- Being focused
- Managing the ego!
