About The Instructor:
Originally from the Salinas Valley, I moved to Santa Cruz in 1990 and now call Aptos my home. I spent a number of years in various areas of healthcare and wellness.
I finally found my true calling in fitness. I opened a Jazzercise franchise in 1998 and instructed several classes weekly. Feeling the desire to work more closely with individuals and make a real difference in their lives I went on to earn my personal trainer certification from the American Council on Exercise in 2004 and now work as a personal trainer in and around the Aptos area.

Although my clients range in age from 18 to 78, I have a particular interest in working with women who have nearly forgotten about their own fitness due to work, home, children….and helping them find the joy of movement, the freedom of personal strength and to enjoy the rewards of taking control of their own heath and well-being through fitness.
I draw from all areas of fitness training and incorporate the clients' interests as well as goals when programming a workout. I also study Pilates and I am happy to include Pilates fundamentals in my clients' workouts.
